Philosophy of Language
The project in Philosophy of Language will focus on the problem of predication, on contextualism and minimalism in semantics and on whether the concept of truth requires a relativistic treatment.

From the discussion emerged the appreciation of Francen's mail critical point against assertion relativism (MacFarlane): according to Francen a genuine deep disagreement not only involves that assertions must both concern a circumstance relative to which they are contradictory, but it must also be the case the disputants
think that what they hold is true at the same circumstance relative to which the other disputant thinks that what she holds is true at.
From the discussion at least two significant points have been raised:
Two points emerged from the discussion:
1) the anaphoric argument against Lasershon's contextual/relativist proposal is problematic to the same extent for the pure contextualist - hence Cappelen and Hawthorne's objection cuts the grounds also to their proposal for taste predicates;
After the seminar's extended discussion for properly assessing Sundell's arguments, Sebastiano thinks that we can represent Sundell's results follows.
Notes on the Cogito meeting on Lopez De "Presuppositions of Commonality"
Seba noted that Dan Lopez De Sa's paper suffers of internal tension between the target advanced in the begenning of the paper of "endorsing the appearences of faultless disagreement" and the presuppotional approach.
