Cogito is a research center in philosophy whose aim is to foster research and internationalization on specific projects. The current areas researched are the history of analitic philosophy, the philosophy of language, epistemology and the philosophy of logic and mathematics.
 
Cogito's projects are led by Principal Investigators (PIs) who are responsible for the scientific activities and the outcomes of the projects. A number of Associate Investigators (AIs) and PhD and Master students are affiliated to each project and participate in the activities of their groups on a regular basis. External researchers (ER) contribute to the activities of their groups through dedicated seminars and on-line discussions.
 
Cogito promotes a close interaction between permanent staff, postdoctoral, PhD and Master students in order to fulfill also a strong educational mission.
 
Cogito's activities comprise weekly reading groups on the themes researched, research seminars held both by permanent members and invited speakers as well as professional and postgraduate conferences.
